 Work of Brazilian composer Paiva Netto launched in New York

 

posterNew York/USA — The composer Paiva Netto — one of the authors of erudite songs that most sells in Brazil, whose work has been recorded by the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra and by the Sofia Chamber Players Orchestra — will have his oratory God’s Mystery Unveiled presented for the first time to the New Yorker audience, by The Sanctuary Choir, under the leadership of maestro Gregory Hopkins.

Paiva Netto’s compositions are of universal reach, being of special interest to those who wish to feel the presence of a superior energy, which provides moments of elevated reflection.

 

It is worth mentioning that his work has received high sanctuarycommendations of conductors, composers and renowned music critics such as Dorival Caymmi, Ricardo Cravo Albin, Francisco Mignone, Isaac Karabtchevsky, Ricardo Averbach, of the late José do Espírito Santo, Hélio Rosa, the Bulgarian Alexander Yossifov (with whom Paiva Netto wrote a concert for piano and orchestra) and Almeida Prado (with whom he composed the CD Apocalypse Symphony). In the repertory, highlights to another worldwide charismatic work: Requiem by Brahms.

The Concert will take place on April 9 (Palm Sunday), at 5 pm at Convent Avenue Baptist Church.
