Specialist writer on Disney visits LGW’s school Regina do Nascimento

São Paulo/SP, Brazil - The writer Ginha Nader, considered the greatest Disney specialist in Latin America, visited on February 21, the José de Paiva Netto Educational Institute and the Jesus Super Day Care Center. Together, they form the Educational Center of the Legion of Good Will (LGW) located at Av. Rudge, 630 and 700 - Bom Retiro, in São Paulo, Brazil.
Received by the LGW’s Ecumenical Children Choir, Mrs. Nader felt great emotion with the children’s song. On the sequence, she visited the classrooms and its several pedagogical resources. Among the hallways, nursery, playground, toy-library, sports courts, labs and various rooms, she also visited the classrooms of the elementary, junior and high school grades including the Bruno Simões de Paiva library.
After visiting all the educational structure of the LGW, Ginha opened her heart in a special edition of the TV program Vida Plena, transmitted by the Boa Vontade TV, to homage the International Women’s Day. In her interview, she talked about her career and personal life and the challenges that women face in the professional field and in their family. She mentioned the books she already published that were written based on studies and researches on the life and work of the entrepreneur Walt Disney, which resulted in the largest Disney private collection of Latin America.

The writer also highlighted her impressions about the socioeducational work developed by the LGW, in special the Ecumenical Citizen Pedagogy (ECP), whose educational proposal aims at forming Brain and Heart. "It is fantastic! The brain will transform you in a professional and the heart will transform you in an excellent Human Being. Before being a good professional, you have to be an excellent Human Being”, she defined. At the LGW’s Educational Institute, she left a message in the Book "From the Heart”: "I would like to register in this book all my fascination for everything that I had the opportunity of living in this partly sunny morning. Never could I imagine finding here what I found. I am really fascinated and I will be an apologist so that a greater number of people could come and visit this magnificent work developed by the LGW. Thank you very much for the opportunity”.
Before concluding her visit, Ginha offered as a gift to the library of the school a copy of her recent book A Magia do Império Disney (The Magic of the Disney Empire) and also made it a point to autograph a copy to the president of the LGW, in which she made the following dedication: "To Mr. José de Paiva Netto, for the great pride in getting to know and deeply feeling the magnificence of your Work. It was an immense pleasure for me. With my best wishes, Ginha Nader. São Paulo, 02/21/08”.
